Building an Alliance
The Desert Climate Alliance began in 2024 with the thought leadership and community organizing of a passionate, talented group of people who cared about the environment, and brought one key issue into focus:
Our efforts are more effective when we collaborate.
The Desert Climate Alliance is home for individuals and organizations who are working to heal and steward our climate. We include and actively collaborate with school districts, municipalities, tribes, businesses, scientists, philanthropists, community organizations, non-governmental organizations, and others to make the most of our efforts to regenerate Earth and support each other in the process.
Our approach ensures that climate strategies are unified, fortified, and amplified.
The Desert Climate Alliance provides virtual and physical spaces for the Coachella Valley. We leverage the collective strengths and resources of diverse stakeholders in order to significantly enhance the region's resilience to climate change.
Our work unifies, fortifies, and amplifies the efforts of scientists, conservationists, climate activists, gardeners, farmers, business leaders, civic officials, educators, friends, and neighbors who care about stewarding our environment to ensure our current well-being and our future survival.
